Qualifications:

✔️ Honors degree in Accounting/Postgraduate in Accounting
✔️ 3 to 5  years of experience with preparation of Financial Statements and engagement reviews
✔️ Completed Articles
✔️ ACCA/CA will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
✔️ Prepare financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
✔️ Conduct monthly and yearly financial close activities and reconciliations.
✔️ Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
✔️ Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
✔️ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and risk management practices.

3. Position: COMPLIANCE AND LEGAL OFFICER
Duty Station: Windhoek

Duration:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Law/Company Law/Commercial Law

Compliance Support:

  • Assist in monitoring the firm’s compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting accounting and finance.
  • Help prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Dept collections from clients
  • AML and FIA compliance

Legal Documentation:

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure proper filing and archiving of legal and compliance records.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits, internal reviews, and regulatory inspections.

Research & Advisory:

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on issues affecting the firm or clients.
  • Provide basic guidance to staff on compliance requirements.
  • Track deadlines for filings, licenses, permits, and regulatory submissions.

Risk Management:

  • Support risk assessment processes and identify potential compliance risks.
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions for compliance gaps.

Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate meetings, trainings, and workshops related to compliance and legal matters.
